Mixtape Migration: A city tour. Ein Stadtrundgang.
Migration ist in Frankfurt kein abstrakter Begriff, sondern vor allem gelebte Realität auf den Straßen der Stadt und im Alltag der Menschen. Offenheit und Solidarität werden hier greifbar, ebenso wie Konflikte und Ausgrenzung. Während des Stadtrundgangs wollen wir Orte besuchen, die die vielfältige Geschichte der Migration nach Frankfurt widerspiegeln - aber auch die (systematische) Vertreibung aus der Stadt. Wir wollen mit Migrant*innen reden, statt über sie. Und wir wollen auch über aktuelle politische Probleme und Widersprüche diskutieren, denn nur so lassen sich die Möglichkeiten einer solidarischeren Zukunft gemeinsam ausloten.

Migration is not an abstract concept, it is the reality we face in the streets of Frankfurt and in the everyday lives of people. In the city, solidarity and open-mindedness become tangible, as do conflicts and exclusion. During the city tour, we want to visit places that reflect the multifaceted history of migration in Frankfurt - but also the forced displacement from the city. We want to talk with migrants, instead of just talking about them. Moreover, we want to discuss political problems and contradictions, in order to explore option for a better future.
